Forewarn Safety App Launches Today, Look for Welcome Email
Forewarn, a free service for Florida Realtors members, delivers background information on prospective clients before face-to-face interactions.
ORLANDO, Fla. – Florida Realtors® members have free access to Forewarn® beginning today for an added layer of personal and professional protection.
New Forewarn subscribers should monitor their email for a welcome message containing activation instructions. If the email is missing, check your junk or spam folder. Realtors who already have a Forewarn subscription through their local boards do not need to activate a new subscription. For technical support, contact Forewarn at support@forewarn.com or call 561-757-4551.
Two webinars have been scheduled – on Jan. 8 and Jan. 16 – that will provide detailed information about registering and using Forewarn. Members should watch their email for more information.
Forewarn – available online and through a mobile app – verifies a caller’s identity and address and provides a nationwide criminal history search. It also uncovers information on property and vehicle records, bankruptcies, liens and judgments. Forewarn uses advanced artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) technology and public data to provide vital information about nearly 100% of the U.S. adult population. Realtors use a caller’s phone number to get information in seconds.
The company said users should remember some tips:
- Searches are strictly for professional use.
- Multiple people can be associated with a single phone number, including family members, relatives and previous owners.
- A person’s criminal history, which will appear in yellow, does not necessarily indicate a history of violence. Traffic infractions also appear under the criminal history section.
